Okay, I don’t know where you live, but I’m on the East Coast and today it was hotter than … well, you know what. So I thought we should pause, reflect, and remember, Winter is coming. So here is your summer-heat-I-can’t-believe-I-miss-the-cold moment:

Now when I think winter I usually think Christmas, and it dawned on me that I never showed you the little tags and boxes I made for my book club gals. They’re just the nicest bunch of ladies and we have delicious fun when we meet once a month. Yes, I mean delicious, cause we eat and drink, my friends, and in betwixt and between we talk about the book we read for the month.
I figured they could all use extra gift tags for the holidays, so here’s what they received:
I love making tags, and I love using tags. One year I made enough tags so that everyone in my family had individualized tags for ALL of their presents so they could easily grab their packages from under the tree knowing whose present was whose.
Yeah, right. And then I grew up.
I digress. All these fun little tags fit into a cute little 3″ x 3″ box that Stampin’ Up! had in the Holiday catalog last year, complete with a clear plastic sleeve. So I decorated the boxes a little, didn’t want to get too crazy, and here is an example:
I hope those boxes come back this year. They were really fun and they were also food safe, so you could fill them with edible goodies.
