You may have guessed by now that I am smitten with the Eastern Beauty stamps, as are most of you out there, according to the Sales Department. You’ve gone and bought up many of the pieces parts of the Eastern Palace Suite and now some of them are on back order!

I promise, that for the near future, at least, I will try to restrain myself from bombarding you with the Eastern Beauty. But one of the things I love most about it is that while it may look complicated and intricate, this card is actually fairly simple. One cut, some patterned paper, a tassel and some easy stamping, because it is a photopolymer stamp set so you can see exactly where your stamped image is going to go.
I came across another example of a card made with this set, and what really impressed me is the color palette used. It gives the card a whole different vibe.
Here Sylwia has cut out a scalloped circle first and then she cut out the medallion. The card front also has the medallion cut out (in Crumb Cake) and the Whisper White medallion sits over it. Then she mounted the Crumb Cake card front to a Whisper White card base. Not the gold tassels, the sweet wood-cut leaf embellishments, and the gold trim. Just yummy!
