I will be so sad when the In Colors from 2013-2015 are retired this year. Those colors, Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, and Strawberry Slush, are probably my very favorite set of In Colors in recent memory. Of course, I respond positively to pastel colors, so maybe that’s why. They just make me feel happy! So when I saw this note card on Pinterest I knew I just had to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) it. The design is by Andrea Wolford, who is one of my go-to design faves. She does such beautiful work.
The stamp set I used is one of my absolute favorites, Regarding Dahlias. I just love the versatility of the large blossom stamp. And the stamping here is very simple – after I cut the white square, I set it on a piece of scrap paper and stamped the image in the corner, so it would fill that part of the paper and the rest of the image went on the scrap underneath.
I also made a cute little box to hold all these note card gems! I also changed up the Brown Sugar card below – instead of the black border I embossed the border instead, and I fussy cut a second dahlia image and adhered it over the top of the base image.
