My Favorite Season

My Favorite Season Amy Hoptay the jurassic crafter craftcarnivore.comWelcome to the Pals’ September 2017 Blog Hop. Thank you so much for joining us today. This month our theme is “My Favorite Season.”  Sit back and enjoy the view while the Pals treat you with projects for the upcoming Autumn and Winter seasons.

Whether you’re just starting the hop, or have come from a previous Pal’s blog, you’ll find the line-up toward the end of my post to help you move along.

You know, asking me about my favorite season is like asking me about my favorite child: sometimes it’s all or none, haha! (Daughter #1, it’s you) But since I have to make a choice, I’m going with Fall, for two reasons: because that’s when my husband and I were married oh, so long ago. And because it’s the time of year we always took our family to the beach.

Okay, so maybe the first one doesn’t count; we’ll go with the second one. Luv ya, Honey! Really! More than my luggage!

My favorite season always includes coffee

Okay, down to business. You know, I never really felt the “coffee” trend. I downright ignored it for years. But I have to admit I overcame my prejudice with the Merry Café set in the new Holiday Catalog on page 46. Just check the end of this post for the list of supplies I’ve used today.

Do you remember the old commercial for Cheer detergent? (Just Google it, young’uns). As a play on words it was called “All Tempa-Cheer.” Remember? That’s kind of how I feel about this set – it’s so versatile, it’s All Seasonal. Okay, maybe it doesn’t have the same ring to it, but work with me. (Daughter #2, it’s you)

Here are my Fall samples. In subsequent posts I’ll share the other cards I made for other seasonal holidays. Who knows, maybe one of these will be the featured tutorial in my next newsletter!

Notice, also, that some of the new products in the catalog are also all seasonal, like the Foil Snowflakes in the card above and the leaf punch in the one below.

And just in case you’re not into coffee, you can always grab a cuppa!

We’ll. I’m one of the ones that never got on the coffee bandwagon either, but examples like yours that show off the alternatives are pushing me toward it. These are cute! Thank you.

Love your cute cups of fall goodness, Amy! It’s always a good excuse to get a tasty cup of whatever we love. So glad SU has joined the coffee generation. Thanks for the inspiration!!
