For today at least, I’m picking Fall.
You know, asking me about my favorite season is like asking me about my favorite child: sometimes it’s all or none, haha! (Daughter #1, it’s you). But since I have to make a choice, I’m going with Fall, for two reasons: because that’s when my husband and I were married oh, so long ago. And because it’s the time of year we always took our family to the beach.
Okay, so maybe the first one doesn’t count; we’ll go with the second one. Luv ya, Honey! Really! More than my luggage!
My favorite season always includes coffee
Okay, down to business. You know, I never really felt the “coffee” trend. I downright ignored it for years. But I have to admit I overcame my prejudice with the Merry Café stamp set from Stampin’ Up!
Do you remember the old commercial for Cheer detergent? (Just Google it, young’uns). As a play on words it was called “All Tempa-Cheer.” Remember? That’s kind of how I feel about this set – it’s so versatile, it’s All Seasonal. Okay, maybe it doesn’t have the same ring to it, but work with me. (Daughter #2, it’s you)
Here are my Fall samples. In subsequent posts I’ll share the other cards I made for other seasonal holidays. Who knows, maybe one of these will be the featured tutorial in my next newsletter!
Notice, also, that some of the new products in the catalog are also all seasonal, like the Foil Snowflakes in the card above and the leaf punch in the one below.
And just in case you’re not into coffee, you can always grab a cuppa!
There you have. One stamp set, three completely different cards. By the way, what is your favorite season? (Daughter #3, it’s you).
Amy… so many things you can do with this set. Fantastic!
We’ll. I’m one of the ones that never got on the coffee bandwagon either, but examples like yours that show off the alternatives are pushing me toward it. These are cute! Thank you.
Love your cute cups of fall goodness, Amy! It’s always a good excuse to get a tasty cup of whatever we love. So glad SU has joined the coffee generation. Thanks for the inspiration!!
You rocked this set, Amy! It’s one of my favorites too. And I love the variety!
All three cards are wonderful! I can’t even pick a favorite, I tried!
