Stampin’ Up! Retired Products Baby Girl Card

A good friend of mine is expecting her first female grandchild at the end of this month, so I was really excited about having a chance to make a baby girl card. I have always been a fan of pink (OMG, who doesn’t love pink?  ~ I don’t want to know, so don’t answer … 😉 ) so I pulled out some of my retired Stampin’ Up! products and here is the result:

I love the look of pink and gray together, in this case Pink Pirouette and Smoky Slate. This is a total CASE of a card I found on Pinterest. I miss this stamp set, Zoo Babies. It’s always been one of my favorites for baby cards.

** note: my iPad is suddenly taking very blurry pictures, so I apologize for the poor image quality here. **

I also used Bitty Banners here for the “sweet baby” sentiment, and Banner Blast for the little banners for the bunting. It’s hard to tell, but I punched the smaller star out of Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper.

And for the inside of this pretty-in-pink baby girl card:

I wanted to make the inside of the card as pretty as the front, so here is what I came up with:

I really tried to clean up these photos more but I don’t think I improved them much. Sad face. But I know that the recipient loved her card, and now I can’t wait to meet that sweet little baby. Dressed in pink, of course!

Until next time, stay crafty, my friends!   ~ Amy
