I received this Papertrey Ink kit called Don’t Forget to Write as a gift several months ago, and have only recently gotten around to using it. Since I needed to send a certain someone some anniversary wishes, I grabbed this kit to see what it had to offer.
The floral bouquets in this kit are really pretty. I went with Stampin’ Up! Blushing Bride card stock (appropriate, no?) as my card base with Whisper White for the inside and front piece. Since I don’t have any PTI inks, I had to come up with a close approximation using my Stampin’ Up! inks. Not an easy task, I assure you! But with a mix of current and retired colors I got as close as I could.
Of course, now I can’t remember what all I used (it’s the first thing to go, right?) but I’m pretty sure of these: Island Indigo, Pistachio Pudding, Old Olive, Melon Mambo, Strawberry Slush, Pool Party, and Rose Red. Or maybe none of these, who knows? (yes, folks, this is my brain on crafts).
This will give you an idea of the inside of the card, as well:
And now I will send you on YOUR way. You know, so you can get back to that very important thing you were doing before I interrupted you with this email.
Till next time,
Stay thirsty, my friends! ~ Amy
